1992
Jolliant was established as one of the Commissaries of 7-Eleven Philippines with an initial capital of PHP20,000. The company introduced its first products, including Chili con Carne for Hotdog, Pasta, and Hamburger.
1999
Jolliant launched Rice Meals (Pinoy Style Variants), expanding its product offerings.
2004
Jolliant entered into a concessionaire agreement with Phil. Seven Corp and introduced the innovative “Rice Meal To Go” concept. This concept included dedicated counters at selected 7-Eleven convenience stores, making it convenient for customers to grab a delicious meal on the go.
2007
Recognizing the competitive nature of the Philippine food industry, Jolliant expanded its business umbrella by opening its first restaurant called Joliant Restaurant. The restaurant offers a wide range of Filipino cuisines in a casual dining setting.
2008
The “Rice Meal To Go” concept was rebranded as “HottaRice!” under 7-Eleven’s Strategic Merchandise product line, further enhancing its appeal and popularity
2010
Jolliant launched the Busog Meal line, introducing three new products: Busog Meal Giniling, Busog Meal Sisig, and Busog Meal Tuna Omelette. These hearty meals provided customers with satisfying and delicious options.
2011
Jolliant introduced a sachet of Chili Con Carne for Hotdog, enhancing the flavour and convenience of its products.
2012
Jolliant unveiled the Premium Big Time Meal in a Bento Box with shrink wrap packaging. This innovative packaging showcased the Big Time Meal Liempo and Big Time Meal Baked Chicken, offering customers a convenient and visually appealing meal option. Additionally, the “HottaRice!” concept expanded in Cebu, reaching 58 stores by the end of 2013.
2013
Jolliant Foods transformed into Princess Jolliant Corporation, reflecting its growth and success. The “HottaRice!” concept expanded to Bacolod, with 50 stores established by the end of 2014.
2014
The “HottaRice!” concept was launched in Iloilo, with a goal to establish 100 stores by 2017, further expanding its presence and reach in the market.
